The Garmin C330 is a well designed and easy to use GPS.I have used Megallen RM 700, Navman ICN 630 and finally this one. Before I bought this unit I was very hesitated which one to go with but after I read many reviews by different users recommending it I finally decided to go for it and I bought this
GPS unit from Amazon and the delivery date was right on and I saved some bucks on shipping with Amazon free shipping and once I got this Garmin C330 I was very pleased and surprised at what I actually got. After my experience with it I can certainly tell you this is the best and the easiest GPS unit I’ve ever used, C330 offers quality and simplicity in a nice neat package. This is why this unit is the best out there. We just got back from a two week trip and this unit absolutely performed flawlessly throughout the trip. Here is my top 11 reasons why this Garmin C330 is better than my old GPS units and why it outperforms other them.
1. Preloaded with highly detailed street maps of the entire U.S. with impressive route recalculation, It had every mountain and road trail that we took in our trip!
2. It finds the satellites very quickly, while my NAVMAN takes minutes, this unit takes less than 20 seconds.
3. When the ignition starts, Garmin C330 powers on and powers off when it goes off. On the other hand, my NAVMAN usually would get confused whenever we stopped for gas and always it required a reboot.
4. It has very convenient and awesome travel features that other units lack such as it shows me the nearest 5 McDonald’s restaurants (or nearest 5 fast food restaurants)
5. Garmin C330’s time estimates for when we would arrive at the destination were incredibly accurate. We could drive for an hour and the estimate would change by no more than a minute or two. My NAVMAN would often miss by over 20%!
6. When you are not navigating to a certain destination, the “View Map” mode will extremely help and show you the names of cross streets as you are heading towards them.
7. The Garmin C330‘s screen is highly readable in both night mode and day mode . The 3D view is way easier to follow than my old NAVMAN’s 2D view.
8. The screen has a very nice feature which is it automatically switches from day mode to night mode..
9. It has a responsive touch screen.
10. It has a trip summary feature which is not on my NAVMAN for showing various derails such as idle time, average speed, top speed, etc.
11. This Garmin C330 is Very easy and simple to use, you can immediately figure out how everything is working.
I highly recommend it, I absolutely got my money’s worth, You will not believe the ease of use and the extremely helpful and awesome features it has. Compare it to anything else out there and at the end you’ll be buying the C330.
